Concerts

Cluster Concert

On December 5, 2022, Reedy Orchestra hosted the annual Cluster Concert. The concert began at 7:30 pm, and many orchestra students stayed after school to help set up the performance area in the gym.

Orchestra students from Pearson Middle School and Pioneer Heritage Middle School joined the Reedy High School Orchestras for the concert. Pieces like Carol of the Bells and Winter Milky Way were performed before all three school orchestras collectively played Let it Snow.

It was great to see the performance progression within all the different school levels, and we can't wait to see the performers grow in future years!

Stonebriar Concert

On December 18, Reedy Orchestra's Virtuosi, Cello Choir, and Harp ensembles performed holiday music at the Stonebriar Mall. The concert began at 2:30 pm, and many dressed in festive holiday attire.

The music consisted of Themes from the Nutcracker, Ding Dong Merrily on High, and The Christmas Song. It was a great performance for all the different orchestras!

Socials

White Elephant Winter Social

On December 16, Reedy Orchestra hosted the Winter/White Elephant Social after school from 4:30 pm to 6:20 pm. Students came and exchanged gifts, and the Booster Club provided pizza for the event. People danced, gave gifts, and had a great time at this annual social!

Senior Movie Social

On December 3, Reedy Orchestra seniors watched Wakanda Forever at the first senior social of the year. It was a great and exciting event for all 2022-2023 seniors!

Officer Secret Santa Social

On December 21, many Reedy Orchestra officers came together at Reedy Orchestra vice president Sean Macfee's house to exchange holiday gifts. There were snacks, fun Reedy Orchestra trivia, and personalized gifts.

All-Region

From December 10-11th, many Reedy Orchestra students performed at the annual All-Region performance. These students dedicated hours practicing audition music before placing in the different leveled orchestras.

The orchestras included String, Philharmonic, and Symphony, and each performed a set of pieces that were conducted and prepared in the span of two days. The students performed wonderfully, and Reedy Orchestra is very proud of all these students' hard work!
