Concerts

Sounds of the Season Concert

On Sunday December 5 from 3 to 4pm, Reedy Orchestra students brought musical cheer to shoppers at Stonebriar Mall.

Songs like Carrol of the Bells and Nutcracker themes were performed by different orchestra ensembles. These ensembles included the Harp ensemble, Cello Choir, and Virtousi, which were directed by Aryc Lane, Rachel Kim, and Megan Li.

Students wore festive clothing like Santa hats and Reindeer antlers, and many shoppers of all ages listened from the first and second floor outside Nordstrom to enjoy the holiday music.

The students spent many mornings and class sessions rehearsings for the concert, and their hard work showed.

Cluster Concert

At 7:30pm on Monday December 6, the Reedy High School Orchestras will be performing their Winter Cluster Concert in the Competition Gym.

Orchestra students from Pearson Middle School and Pioneer Heritage Middle School will join the Reedy High School Orchestras for the concert. The concert program also includes the Reedy High School Bollywood Dance Team and the Cluster Harp Ensembles.

The Cluster Harp Ensemble will be performing Silent Night and River, and the combined Reedy High School Orchestras will play White Christmas, and Carol of the Bells. Finally, the evening will end with all Reedy Cluster Orchestras performing Let it Snow.

We hope many can make it to the Cluster Concert and that it will be a great kickoff to the Holiday Season.
